Finally the jamboree of US Presidential elections are over. All the Analysts, Prophesists, Political Pundits can go back to their cells and now we can have something new. US Presidential Elections always have an aura of being an international event. For more than a month, more than half of International section of Times Of India used to be occupied by the coverage of election campaign of Presidential Canditates. Hope so now we will get something new to read.
Right from the beginning of elections, since the face off between Obama and Hillary, I knew that if Obama becomes Presidential candidate then he will surely win the elections. The results have shown that I am no less than all those myriad american-policy pundits who daily blabbered on various news channels. As an Indian obviously we are concerned what will be there for us after Obama takes office. As far as I have read, India always had more cordial relations with US under Republicans rather than under Democrats. Hope Obama does something to change that perception.

Indian B Schools are facing the heat of global financial meltdown. Suddenly job offers have reduced and salaries offered during campus placements have come down drastically. My old friend happens to be in Placement Committee of Mumbai campus of my college. I talked to him on phone recently and he confirmed that placements this year will be bad. The conditions are worst for Finance major MBA grads.

In today's newspaper I found this interesting article. Finally we have something that can make up for brain drain of educated and skilled workforce from our country. India is now being preferred destination for international job seekers!!
