Incorrect Password

From couple of days blogger.com has been too irritating for me.First of all I wasnt able to login from my password.I was entering my login Id and password correctly but blogger.com wont let me in.Now my password is pretty simple.Very very easy.Any person can make out what it is if he looks attentively when I type it on keyboard. My first fear was that someone hacked it.Then I went on 'Forgot Password' and then changed my password to a new one.

After changing password I got message that they are migrating my Blogger account to google and asked me to login into google account.I did that.Everything was fine till now.
When I went on blogs of other friends and tried to enter comments then again same'Incorrect Password' error came. This used to come after typing 20-30 lines in comment. After typing comments if the password is wrong then sometimes the entire posts disappears and it becomes pretty irritating to type it again.

Now I came to know that from now onwards I ned to login through my Gmail account and password.

Right from the beginning I had only 2 sets of passwords which I used for different login Ids on different sites. One of them is pretty easy, the one I use for my mails and the other one is sort of tough to understand what I have written even if some one tries to make it out.
Apart from Yahoo,Rediffmail,Gmail,Orkut,Blogger.com etc I have login Ids for my company corporate account and newspapers like Times of India,Dawn,Asian Age etc. For all these I use one of the two passwords.

So if any persons gets my password he can easily screw my whole online world. Coz Newspaper sites and many other sites send you a confirmation mail with your login Id and Password written after you register in mail confirming that we have registered. So if any person surfs through my mail box he can easily get all my Ids and other password.
You people must be wondering that I am pretty careless and putting all these things on blogs shows my stupidity. I have put these things on blog coz I have done a very good thing today.
I have chosen 10 digit alpha numeric consisting of random alphabets and Numbers and have memorised it.I will be using this for my passwords now.(I got this idea from 'Digital Fortress').
Wish you all happy and safe surfing.

12 Feb 2007

After a big gap I am back in the blogger’s world. I hope people remember me.
Thanks to anonymous spammers who use to post comment on my blog reminding me of ‘Nomadic Thoughts’. Therefore I have decided not to delete their spam comments.

Last couple of months had been too busy for me. I am now looking after totally new software functionality, which deals with Tenders and Auctioning. Now I am a very slow learner. As soon as I took this project in my hand I was told to shift to Bhopal and learn entire Tendering process for a PSU for which we were making software. Tendering for me initially was a very simple process. Just make Tender for a particular material inviting different parties to bid for it. When the bid has come just open it and give the contract to the one who suits the best. But when I started studying the process I came to know that Tender making process itself has to go from numerous stages and bureaucratic process. Then the process of inviting bids online and opening is more complicated. So we mapped the entire process of this PSU and made the software and when I was just heaving a sigh of relief I was given next assignment to prepare demo for another PSU, which has totally different method of procuring materials through Tenders. Thank god demo and presentation is postponed.

Since I have time lets see what are Ashley,Ganga and Basanti doing these days.
